Jazz, blues and sweet melody…Melody Gardot

I’ve been stumbling into a nice frame of mind lately when it comes to music. If you’d raid the front passenger seat of my Subaru you’d find a lot of cd’s scattered about. But five in particular have been scanning around nearly every day for the last two weeks in my player. In no particular order…The Clash – London Falling, Melody Gardot, Buena Vista Social Club, Rush Greatest Hits and an Alison Krauss + Union Station CD.

But I have to tell you that Melody Gardot’s smooth pitch perfect voice takes you on a jazz blues you’ll soon never forget. And often will want repeat. If you haven’t had the pleasure of listening to her…I encourage you to add her to your collection…you’ll fall in love with her.

Thanks Timothy for such a great advice…Never heard before, but now it’s amazing discovery – feminine blues like fresh spring wind in the evening ….
