It’s quite simply ridiculous the number of great songs and indie bands that are saturating the music scene. Lucky for all of us you don’t have to look far in order to find a festival or a club that features amazing talent. I don’t doubt that this talent has always existed…but thanks to the easy access and production tools that resides at each of our finger tips we get to hear and see the talent this genre has gifted each of our ears and hearts.

This month Nelsonville Ohio will hold its annual Music Festival…just one more venue to unleash creative glimpses of brilliance.

Here are a few of those fine bands that are appearing at the Nelsonville Music Festival that have attracted my attention…causing me to search google in the hopes to find more moments of musical pleasure.

Bands like the Dawes playing “When my Time Comes”…or Mount Moriah performing “Reckoning” should be fan favorites. I haven’t had the chance to ever attend this fest nor to see either of these bands perform live…Nelsonville can expect one new guest this year.
